San Martino Valley: a tiny plot of land between Bergamo and Lecco, a land celebrated by Italo Neri, a poet from Calolziocorte, as “a piece of heaven” because “nothing in the world is more beautiful than this valley”, is still today considered a well preserved landscape of great natural beauty.
There you can find a fascinating environment, the green, the flowered meadows, the chestnut woods, the old farms, the villages in a quiet atmosphere immersed in the nature with the old times fragrance.
Also art, present in a quite frequent measure, can contribute to tickle the cultural interests.
Blessed land, alive, genuine and colourful, where everything’s harmony, even singing full voice the beauties of the earth.
In the centre of the valley there is Cisano Bergamasco, where Coro Val San Martino has its headquarters. Here the choir was born, has grown up, has become a protagonist in Italy and in the world. And here again, Coro Val San Martino has been able to fulfil its dream: to build up its home, named “House of the music”, officially opened during its 35th anniversary celebrations, on May the 9th, 2004.
